Our 41st Annual Big Night Out Gala tonight!

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Toronto (BBBST) will hold its 41st Annual Big Night Out Gala on Thursday, June 2nd, 2011 beginning at 6 p.m. at the Liberty Grand. The evening will be hosted by Brian Burke, President and General Manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Jennifer Burke, award-winning Canadian broadcaster in radio, print, television and weblog mediums.

“As we move into the future, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Toronto works to become more meaningful to greater numbers of children and youth. The most important investment we as individuals can make is to help our children realize – and share – their full potential. With over 300 children waiting for a Big Brother or Big Sister, the proceeds from this event will allow more children and youth to discover the benefits of a mentoring relationship,” says BBBST President Cathy Denyer.

The Gala’s theme, “A Night for All Seasons” celebrates the men and women in our city who make a difference, every day of every season, in the lives of Toronto’s children and youth. As positive role models for the next generation, our volunteers inspire children and youth to become future leaders in their communities.

Big Night Out is BBBST’s largest fundraising event of the year and will be attended by over 700 business and community leaders.
